I remember Dan and Yvonne coming to many of my soccer games. They drove all the way to Oregon for my senior weekend games. They didn’t care the distance, they showed up. He was always in the best mood and had a positive outlook on life. I will always be grateful for how much they showed up :)

I knew Dan my whole
Life. He was one of my father’s best friends. I have many fond memories of Dan and he always made me smile. He had an extremely kind heart and always made me laugh. We love and miss you- thank you for being there for our family, especially my dad.

All the love,

Dan will always be known as “Uncle Dan” to us. He was loved by James and I, and both of our children. He was always someone we could go to for the best advice, and there wasn’t a major life milestone for us where he wasn’t consulted. He was wise, kind, and selfless. We miss you Uncle Dan.

I’m grateful that Dan was my friend for many years. From the onset of our friendship, he chose to call me his “Bro”. Indeed, he was an older brother to me; and was also, embraced by my family. I take comfort knowing that Dan is with his mom and dad, his family and friends that have passed-on; and enjoying eternal good times together. Dan was such a wonderful man and this is to share my deepest condolences to his Partner Yvonne, his son Jason and daughters Jessica and Melony; and grandchildren Joshua and Caden.

It's taken me some time to get my act together to write this about my youngest brother, Dan. As most know Dan and his brother David along with me and my brothers Art and Jim were more brothers than cousins. As children we were able to spend summers and holidays together to create a long lasting family love affair. I will remember those times always. I am grieving with the recent loss of Dan and the loss of my other younger brothers. My wife, Shirley, and I will miss the times we spent with Dan and Yvonne. We will maintain our relationship with Yvonne and Dan's children always. I miss Dan, especially during the MLB season. Dan and I kept in touch with each other constantly through phone calls and texts. I have missed his persistent love of the Giants and his hate of all the changes of MLB rules. I know he is with the rest of my brothers arguing these unnecessary changes to old time baseball rules. I will see them again, not soon I pray, to join in that ongoing discussion. Take care Dan and continue to be the great youngest brother always.
Love, Your oldest brother Robert

Dan was a special guy. So thoughtful and kind. Working with him was easy. One of the things I remember thinking was special was when some of my friends and I went to Jenner for a weekend. He would beat us there and when we got there he would have left flowers on the table. At first we didn’t know who did this but finally figured it out. So sweet. Jim and I were motorcycle riders and would see Dan at toy runs for children. Yvonne I didn’t meet you but send you my sympathy. Jessica and Jason for sure you were his heart. Prayers for all of you.

I miss my travel buddy. Dan was a homebody. Getting him out of the house could sometimes be challenging. But once I got him moving, we had some wonderful adventures. That was until he started to miss the cats and it was time to head home. 😂

Your dad was an amazing man, and his memory will live on forever. His love and wisdom will continue to guide you. May the cherished memories
you shared with your father bring you peace. He was an inspiration to many and his legacy will live on through you both. Dan was a guiding light and touched the lives of those around him.

"The thing I am most proud of is my children." Well dad, the thing I am most proud of is being your daughter. I love you. Thank you for always being there.

Dad always put us kids first. My parents divorced when I was about four and Jessica was recently born. Dad would ride the bus every weekend to pick us up without fail. He wouldn't miss time with us for anything. Even though he was very poor, we never felt it.
