With gratitude to God for a life richly blessed and beautifully lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, Madam Dorcas Akinsola, who peacefully departed this life on 20 May 2026 in Ibadan, Nigeria, at the age of 96.
Madam Dorcas Akinsola was a woman of remarkable strength, quiet dignity, unwavering faith, and deep compassion. She lived a life devoted to God, her family, and the service of others. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring nature touched countless lives and left an enduring impression on everyone privileged to know her.
She was a loving and devoted mother who was blessed with seven wonderful children, each of whom was a source of immense pride and joy to her. Through her wisdom, sacrifice, guidance, and unconditional love, she laid a strong foundation for her family and nurtured generations who will continue to cherish her values and honour her memory.
Madam Akinsola was known for her kindness, generosity, and gracious hospitality. Her home was a place of welcome, comfort, and encouragement. Whether through a thoughtful word, a helping hand, or a heartfelt prayer, she had a special gift for making people feel valued and loved.
Throughout her long and fruitful life, she built lasting friendships and meaningful relationships. Family members, friends, neighbours, and all who crossed her path experienced her sincerity, wisdom, and genuine concern for others. She lived with humility, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to doing what was right.
Although her passing leaves a profound void in our hearts, we give thanks for the precious memories she leaves behind and for the extraordinary legacy of faith, love, resilience, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Madam Dorcas Akinsola will be deeply missed and forever treasured by her seven children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her extended family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her 96 years.
Her memory will remain a blessing, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
