Colleen Lynda Dacre Gossage

What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.
Obituary
It is truly impossible to write in mere words the impact that Colleen Lynda Dacre Gossage had on everyone who had the fortune to know her. Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, "Gran" to her grandchildren...strong in her Church Faith...she was a real person with real likes and dislikes, loves and frustrations. But full of love for those she cared about. Colleen was not necessarily shy, but would sometimes be protective of her true inner self until she was comfortable with a new person she had met.
As her husband, I believe that the best way to tackle the obituary is to provide background to the photos on this site. One example is the Painting Hobby that she started around 2019. While she could have gone to the Painting Classes on her own, she made it VERY clear that she REALLY wanted me to go with her. We had a wonderful time together while she painted (I have zero painting skills and just watched her during the classes), but one of the blessings was the ability to take photos of a hobby that meant a lot to her.
I have opened this website so that anyone may add photos as they desire.
Her mother Lynda shared a great memory at her memorial regarding a photo from school regarding layers and layers of laquer as Colleen was late in turning in the photo for the school project. These are the types of stories that will add depth and help us all remember the real person that Colleen was while here on Earth.
I miss Colleen every day...the person who tried hard not to get VERY frustrated with my complete lack of direction when driving somewhere. Love to all who wish to enjoy her memory on tis website from her husband Craig
