Colin August Jennings, aged 26, passed away in Columbus, Ohio on February 22, 2024. He was born on March 7, 1997 in Columbus but moved to Philadelphia, PA, at a young age, where he lived his formal years. Colin moved back to Columbus around 2019.

Colin was a young man of many passions, including a lover of theater arts, an avid reader, fashion doll collector, and K-pop fan. His appreciation for Korean culture was profound and infused into his daily life. Colin was a very loving and giving person. Colin would give his last to help someone even when he didn't have much himself. Colin loved to laugh, was extremely sarcastic and loved getting under the skin of those he loved. 

Left to honor Colin's memory are his loving mother, Yolanda Jennings; his siblings, Christian, Adriana, Amadea, Cadel, and Autumn Jennings; his grandmother, Rev. Cora Jennings, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and close friends. Colin was preceded in death by his aunt, Talitha Evangeline Jennings and grandfather, Rev. William G. Jennings, great grandparents, Ollie Gunn Jennings Borders, Rev. Joe Bankston and Dorothy Bankston.

Colin's educational journey began at Martin Luther School and culminated in his graduation from Wordsworth Academy in Fort Washington. and Keystone Job Corps, a testament to his commitment to learning and personal development.

Colin will be remembered for his infectious smile, gentle spirit, his intellectual curiosity, and the quiet strength of his character. His family invites those who knew and loved him to carry his memory in their hearts.

He was a great guy and a great friend, I can't believe he's gone. I was at Keystone when he was and he was fun to hang with. It's hard to believe that he's gone. But Rest in peace Colin, you'll be missed

He was such a kind hearted person. Anytime you would talk to him he would always make great conversation. He had a contagious smile and made people see that in him. My condolences to the family May he rest in peace 💔🕊️

I am so sad to have to write on this wall for such an amazing young man. Colin was a bright light as a student, with a kind smile that affected everyone around him.
