Obituary

In loving memory of Claudia Heyer, who passed away leaving behind a cherished legacy of unwavering faith, service, and profound warmth. Born in Campobasso, Italy, in 1975, Claudia lived a life defined by her devotion to her faith, her family, and her international community. Her journey took her to London, where she embraced new beginnings, fell in love, and met her beloved husband, Bjoern, originally from South Africa, serving in Malawi. Together, they shared a deep bond rooted in shared values and a spirit of service. Driven by a desire to help others and share their faith, Claudia and Bjoern spent years in Malawi as dedicated missionaries and Bethelites, serving the community with tireless zeal, hospitality, and joy. In recent years, Claudia returned to her roots in Italy, settling in Verona. As an active and cherished member of the Verona English Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, her kindness, encouragement, and strong faith continued to touch the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bjoern, as well as extended family, friends, and spiritual brothers and sisters around the world who will miss her dearly, while holding fast to the hope and memories she leaves behind.

In ricordo di Claudia Heyer, scomparsa prematuramente e lasciando un'eredità preziosa di fede incrollabile, servizio e profondo calore umano. Nata a Campobasso, in Italia, nel 1975, Claudia ha vissuto una vita segnata dalla devozione alla sua fede, alla sua famiglia e alla sua comunità internazionale. Il suo percorso l'ha portata a Londra, dove ha abbracciato un nuovo inizio, si è innamorata e ha incontrato il suo amato marito, Bjoern, originario del Sudafrica e in servizio in Malawi. Insieme, hanno condiviso un legame profondo, radicato in valori comuni e in uno spirito di servizio. Mossi dal desiderio di aiutare gli altri e condividere la loro fede, Claudia e Bjoern hanno trascorso anni in Malawi come missionari e membri della comunità Betel, servendo la comunità con instancabile zelo, ospitalità e gioia. Negli ultimi anni, Claudia è tornata alle sue radici in Italia, stabilendosi a Verona. Come membro attivo e stimato della Congregazione Inglese dei Testimoni di Geova di Verona, la sua gentilezza, il suo incoraggiamento e la sua forte fede hanno continuato a toccare la vita di tutti coloro che l'hanno conosciuta. Lascia nel dolore il marito Bjoern, a lei devoto, oltre a parenti, amici e fratelli e sorelle spirituali in tutto il mondo, che sentiranno profondamente la sua mancanza, custodindo al contempo la speranza e i ricordi che ci lascia.

La qualità che per me meglio definisce Claudia è la TENACIA.
Si, perchè nonostante le difficoltà non si è mai rassegnata, non l'ho mai sentita lamentarsi ma era sempre pronta a una nuova avventura, perchè per lei ogni giorno era un'avventura da vivere fino in fondo. E questo lo prendo come esempio.
Alla famiglia voglio dedicare queste parole del nostro creatore Geova: Isaia 66:13 "Come una madre consola il figlio, così io continuerò a consolare voi...".

Even though we got to know sister Claudia in recent years we really appreciate and commend her zeal.
No matter her conditions she would always be present at the ministry and meetings with a smile saying she was fine.
That kept encouraging us to always keep doing our best with a smile just as she always did.
She always cared for brothers and sisters and especially children in the congregation.

The news was really sad, but we know that she is in Jehovah’s loving care and we can't wait to be reunited with her soon.❤️🌺

Sister Claudia is a special person I realized my daughter Chiara love her so much she will look for her every assembly or convention and asked me to go and great her and l always do that also if Sister Claudia sees me without Chiara she will always asked some times we will meet in the hospital for blood test and my daughter always cry to do this test i remember Sister Claudia will beg her tell her that she dose the test more often than Chiara that Chiara should be strong and my daughter remember everything that Claudia said To her .to me Claudia will always look at me into my eyes and tell me be strong Sarah and when I told Chiara about Claudia death i could not believe what i saw my daughter cried so much and i told her if she respect jehovah and do his will she will see Claudia again that was when I could understand how deep she love her she was a nice Sister and close to everyone even children could bond with her we love her so much we pray jehovah should give strength to family member
more especially the husband to cope with this great loss

We met Claudia back in June 2015 together with her husband when they were visiting for Letizia (her lovely sister/my dear friend) in Hong Kong.
It was nice knowing her since then and we are so looking forward to seeing her again in the new world. We love you very much, Claudia ❤️❤️
