Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce that Mr Chua Kok Eng has passed away peacefully on the 31st March 2026.
Mr Chua was a shining light in our lives, whose warmth and kindness touched everyone he met. Memories of Mr Chua will be cherished by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
All are welcome to attend the wake and funeral service to celebrate his life, stories and legacy.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Mr Chua’s passing.
He was someone who brought a rare sense of calm and clarity to every situation. In moments when things felt uncertain or challenging, he was the steady hand guiding the way—always rational, thoughtful, and composed. His presence made a difference, not just in the work we did, but in the confidence and reassurance he gave to those around him.
I will always remember his quiet strength and the respect he earned so naturally. He leaves behind a lasting impression on all of us who had the privilege of working with him at HDB.
