A man's worth is measured by what he leaves behind—not in riches, but in the strength of his hands, the steady love in his heart, and the people he stood by."

In Loving Memory of
Christopher Carl Cummings
January 19, 1964 – October 18, 2026
Christopher Carl Cummings, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and lifelong fixer of all things broken, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026, at his home in Poulsbo, Washington, surrounded by his loving family. He was 62 years old.
Born on January 19, 1964, Christopher lived a life defined by extraordinary strength, deep devotion to his family, an adventurous spirit, and a hands-on ingenuity that meant no problem—whether structural or personal—ever went unsolved for long.
Christopher possessed a deep, lifelong curiosity about the world around him. Whether he was exploring the wonders of geology, looking up in fascination at flight, traveling to new places, or taking in the open road on his motorcycle, he approached his interests with a sense of wonder and engagement. He had a natural fascination with how the world was built, holding a sharp intellect for building maintenance, civil engineering, and understanding the infrastructure of things. This same analytical dedication translated into his gift for repairing what was broken—a trait that extended far beyond physical structures and straight into the steady, protective way he cared for the people around him.
For six and a half years, Christopher faced stage 4 colon cancer with staggering courage, resilience, and grace. Even through the hardest of battles, his focus remained on what mattered most: his family. Above all else, Christopher’s greatest joy and proudest achievement was his loved ones. He cherished every moment spent together, anchoring them with his steady presence, wisdom, and warmth.
Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Cummings; his daughters, Crystal Cummings and Stephenie Corey; his mother, Tammy Cummings; his four brothers; and many other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
His legacy lives on through the family he held so dear, the places he explored, and the countless things he left in better shape than he found them.
