Obituary
We mourn the loss of our beloved Christian Jahmal Cousins, a young man who was a son, brother, nephew, cousin, and grandson. Born on September 22, 2006, in Atlanta, Georgia, Christian was a remarkable individual whose vibrant presence touched many lives.
Christian's journey began at Delphi Academy, where he exhibited a natural curiosity and love for learning. His educational path continued at Stoughton Middle School and Stoughton High School, where he was not only a dedicated student but also a cherished friend. Known for his kindness, humor and gentle soul, Christian's warm personality made everyone feel comfortable around him.
Christian had a deep appreciation for life and a passion for travel. He explored numerous countries with his family, including unforgettable trips across Africa. His travels, broadened his horizons and enriched his understanding of different cultures, making him well-cultured and worldly at a young age.
Christian had an adventurous spirit, enjoying activities such as water rafting and surfing in California with his brother, Jalen. He had memorable experiences traveling to Senegal with his mother and brother at a young age to shop in markets for the family import business. He spent many days and nights at his parents' two chiropractic practices, soaking in their dedication and work ethic. Christian cherished playing video games with his father and traveling to Georgia to spend summers with his grandmother, Daisy and his grandfather James. He was an accomplished athlete, playing on the AAU Brockton team and earning a black belt in MMA by the age of 15. He also enjoyed experiencing life with his amazing and loyal group of friends at Stoughton High; Deshun, Marcel, Ledio, Belleya, and Johnathan, just to name a few.
Christian inherited the entrepreneurial spirit that runs deep in his family. Recently, he became certified in car wrapping, a business he started with his close friend Deshun. They traveled to North Carolina together to get certified, forming the perfect partnership. Additionally, he and his brother Jalen ran a Turo business in California, using this venture to bond and grow closer. Christian had plans to move to California after graduation to further expand these businesses and continue his personal and professional growth.
Christian is survived by his loving parents, Dr. Shalair Armstrong-Cousins and Eric Jahmal Cousins, who together run chiropractic practices in Randolph and Dorchester, MA. He is also survived by his brother, James Jalen Joseph of California; his grandmother, Daisy Lanham; his grandfather James Lanham of Georgia. Christian also leaves behind his aunts, Labelle Daphne Armstrong-Fowlkes of Roxbury, MA, and Krystal Armstrong of Springfield, MA; his uncles Marc Cousins of Atlanta, GA and Alphonzo Fowlkes of Roxbury, MA, his cousins, Alaia Dixon-Armstrong, Zynia Love Dixon-Armstrong, Harmony Dauphin and a host of other relatives.
Christian was a beloved member of the Stoughton community and was deeply connected to his friends and their families. He was known for his generosity, gentle spirit, and unwavering loyalty. His presence was a source of light and positivity, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we remember Christian, we honor his spirit and the legacy he leaves behind. His journey, though tragically cut short, was filled with love, adventure, and a relentless pursuit of his dreams. Christian wasn't just anybody; he was a light in our lives, surrounded by love, and he will continue to be remembered that way.

RIPower Young King 🕊
I worked with Christian’s Grandmother, Daisy, and remember her joy at Christian’s birth, and her stories of watching him as a baby during summers in Georgia.
I am so saddened to hear that Christian’s life on earth is no more.
Godspeed, Christian. You will always be remembered! ❤️
Though our time together was brief, it was enough to witness the remarkable potential and the incredible person you were becoming. Your parents’ love for you is boundless and everlasting. We honor you, young king, and may your lasting impact on friends, family, and loved ones be cherished forever. Rest in peace.
Sending my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your beloved Christian. May God grant you all the strength and may your memories give you moments of needed solace.
Please accept my sincere condolences. My heart breaks for you, as no parent should have to bury their child. This tragedy is all too common in our times, and it is deeply heartbreaking. I am in tears thinking of your loss and the pain you must be feeling.
I will be praying for your family to find peace and comfort during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength in each other and in the love and support of those around you. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Christian, you were listening and applying everything you learned, and I am so proud of you. Today, it was you who made me believe in heaven because that's the only place you could be right now. If you're not there, you must be walking among us. We've all silently decided that you are our new inspiration, the reason we must excel further than we ever imagined. You are our reason, Christian.
You are so loved, Chris. I miss you so much. I wish you could jump on my back one more time or give me that silent stare when I pushed my way into your room and flipped things over just to annoy you. Do you remember when I was your best friend, before you grew taller than me and got a deep voice? Do you remember when I had to rough up the twins because they took your game? Aunty didn't play about her Christian, and I was ready to take them down for you. Guess what? I'm still ready, baby. We are all READY!!
I will love you forever. Come to us in our dreams.
Love,
Loving all of you so much.
