Cheyenne was the baby girl of our family—a sister to seven, a daughter, a best friend, and truly a blessing to everyone who knew her. Her presence was gentle, her spirit full of light, and her love unconditional. Today, we gather to honor her life, her laughter, and the beautiful memories she’s left with each of us. She will be forever missed, and endlessly loved.

Obituary

Cheyenne left us far too soon, and the weight of her absence is something words can hardly hold. But even in this pain, we remember the joy she brought into our lives—her laugh, her kindness, her ability to make anyone feel at home. She had a way of loving so deeply, without hesitation.

Though we grieve now, we take comfort in knowing that this goodbye is not forever. We will see her again in heaven, where her light will shine even brighter. Until then, we carry her memory with us in everything we do—with every sunflower, every smile, every moment of warmth and grace. She will always be with us.

Memories

We invite you to take a moment to leave a message for Cheyenne or share a memory you have with her. Whether it's something sweet, funny, or meaningful—your words will help us keep her spirit close.

Please feel free to share more than one. Every story, every thought, is a piece of her we want to hold onto forever.

When I first moved to NC in 2011, Cheyenne was my first friend & she greeted me with open arms. She welcomed me into her home & around her family & we shared a lot of funny & unforgettable memories together. She was so funny, sweet & outgoing. I hope she’s found eternal peace & watching over all of us from heaven. She’ll always carry such a special place in my heart.

I love you so much, I’ll never forget the day you randomly FaceTimes me saying let’s go to Michigan for two weeks. I was so down, now that’s my most favorite memory rolling on the grass for 8 hours. Non stop laughing. You did so much for me and you always answered my FaceTime. You were the only one I could count on to answer the phone at any given moment. Even if it wasn’t a good time you would pick up the phone. You did so much for everyone else you forgot about yourself sometimes. You were there for me hardcore when my grandmother passed. I’ll never forget the day you crawled thru my window because I wouldn’t pick up the phone. Or the time you drove to Gatlinberg to visit me for my bday. You always stopped what you were doing to visit me. All the times you drove to Raleigh and Vice versa. We always did that. I would move back to Fayetteville and you would move to Raleigh. Or when I moved back to Raleigh you were back in Fayetteville. I’m so thankful for you, and everything we did together these past 12 years. I’m so blessed with you as my guardian angel. You always asked to be jurnees godmother, and I think it’s safe to say I will forever and always talk about you to Jurnee and let her know how great you were and how important you are in my life. Without Autumn we would’ve never met, honestly not true you found me in Gym at Pine forest and my first question was lemme get $5 and guess what!?!? You did it! That was the start of our friendship and it’s been non stop exciting ever since. I love you my queen rest up , I’ll see you soon and we can catch up I have so much to tell you! Xoxoxo

I’ll never forget the day she brought Margret home. I got home from work and poor Margret was black and grey and sat at the end of our hallway growling at us. I asked Cheyenne why did you adopt her? She said Margret needed to get out of that shelter and she looked so sad that she couldn’t leave without her we Cheyenne gave her a bath without fear to expose Margret’s beautiful blonde coat and Margret became a huge part of our lives since that day when she adopted her the shelter said she was 8 years old and Cheyenne and I had her for another 8 Cheyenne took her everywhere she went and Margret is the best dog I’ve ever known to this day.

Anytime Cheyenne was having a good time no matter how big or small she always exclaimed “This is the best day of my life!” I would always tease her and say I thought that was yesterday.

I will always cherish the adventures we had together. We traveled so much and stopped anywhere that seemed fun or interesting. Cheyenne always looked for something new to discover wherever we went.
