SEE YOU SPACE COWBOY...

Obituary

Even though we all share an existence, we do not always share the same world. Our worlds are predominantly created in our own minds. We may never know or understand everything that occurred in Charlie’s world, but we are all the more better off that Charlie was a part of ours. Just because a life might be short, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t impactful. Charlie impacted everyone he knew with his smile, his earnest curiosity about his loved ones lives, and his immersive generosity. There is a void where is laughter used to be, and an empty spot at the many tables we shared with him. But he is with us, and still is wanting to ask us to "tell me a stooory!"

Charlie was born on May 16, 1984 to Nathalie Rossmiesl and Mark Nasworthy in Suffolk, England, UK. Because Mark was in the Airforce, Charlie spent his early years moving frequently. He lived in the UK, Florida, and Arizona before moving to Texas. Charlie considered himself a Texan, spending much of his childhood in Florida made him a Florida Man. Charlie graduated from Flower Mound High School Class of 2003. Following in his father and grandfather's footprints, he joined the US Air Force Reserve later that year, where he became an airplane mechanic, achieving the equivalent of a journeyman license.

Charlie and Meagan began dating in 2012, but split after a few months. Although they knew they loved each other then, neither was ready for a relationship. They reconnected in 2021, and have been nearly inseparable since. Charlie considered their marriage date to be March of 2023 when they signed their first lease together. Their marriage was legally recognized by the State of Texas on January 30th, 2026.

Charlie always said he had "too many expensive hobbies." He loved anything involving aeronautics, cars (most of all his 350Z), guns (both collecting and shooting), hunting, Anime, writing, music, and most of all staying up all night "yelling at" the friends and family he loved most.

Charlie's battle with depression and alcohol ended on February 14th, 2026. If you are struggling, please, reach out. Accept help. You are loved. So much.

He is survived by his wife Meagan, sisters Stephanie Krall (Geoff) and Kalie Whited, brother Jacob Nasworthy, father and stepmother Mark & Irene Nasworthy, mother and stepfather Natalie & Don Kimble, 5 nieces (Addy & Jude Krall, Charlotte & Evelyn Whited, Paisley Arredondo), 1 nephew (Gabriel Arredondo), Grandmother, Joan Rossmeisl,  and his children: Rico (16, cat), Simba (13, cat), Otis (3, dog), and Pyrrha (2, dog). Charlie is also survived by the many members of his found family. He loved each and every one of you with all his strength.

Charlie and I were not good at taking photos. We tried to live in the moment and make memories that way. I have so very few photos of him. Please share any photos you have.

Charlie, your time here with us was shorter than we would have liked but a life well lived. You came in happy sweet and chubby, and you grew up to be handsome loving and super fun. Proud of you. Sorry for the very difficult storms you had to weather. Thanks for visiting us with your huge laugh and smiling face. You are loved always. Wishing you peace and rest now, and will miss you beyond words but will always carry you with me. Love, Aunt Les

Charlie- where do I begin? Everything everyone has said before me is true. You were life, you were light, you made sure to tell me you loved me so that I would know I wasn’t alone in my loneliest moments, you were the best of friends to SO MANY people, you were funny, you were kind and you cared. Most of all, you cared and you loved. I was shocked when I heard. Ten months to the day that my dad died and all I could think about was Meagan, your family, your friends, and begging my dad to find you in the afterlife to take you fishing. I know he would love fishing, drinking, smoking, and sharing stories with you in this next phase. I just know it. God, what I would give to have you both here with us. I will miss you, friend. I will miss your big hugs, your welcoming smile and the way you always made me feel welcome as one of Meagan’s friends that was just going through it. You NEVER judged. You always rooted for me. You loved F1 as much as I do. You were incredible. I wish you had seen that. I wish you had seen how much your wife and your animals loved you. I wish you had known everything we all feel. I wish. I wish. I wish. Please tell my dad I say hello!

Until we meet again,
Nikki

I worked with Charlie at Serverless Solutions. I had just a few dozen touch points with him, but it was obvious that he was a kind man that valued relationships and connection over ego. He put others at ease with his calm demeanor and disarming way of being. I am better for having had the opportunity to meet and get to know Charlie little bit. My deepest condolences go out to his loved ones.

Rest in peace Charlie. I didn't know you well, but I knew enough to know that you were a good man!

Charlie was the best! I will cherish the few times we were able to get together. We would talk and laugh for hours. I will never forget those enthusiastic blue eyes and the loving, playful energy behind them. See you on Level 2 my man! Luv u bunches!

I don't have pictures with Charlie, but I have hours of videos tucked away on tape. He was a Co-Founder of our favorite 20's event- Post Racing. Thanks for always willing to do crazy homemade Motorsports, shopping cart jousting, and dragging our street luge with the Mazda "Ranger".

Charlie was one of the sweetest guys I knew. He loved Japanese cars and had a special ability to make feel special. He had a huge heart and always knew how to make anyone smile. Charlie will always live on in my heart. Words cannot properly convey how great you were man. We miss and love you very much.

This is hard.

Charlie/Chuckie, your life was bittersweet. You made me feel less alone in this version of existence. You know that I love you, I know that you love me. I will miss you for the rest of my life. Your laugh echos.

We talked about a tattoo we could get together. I will get it without you. Enjoy being with the stars, brother. You are stardust, and you are on my crew. I'm sorry for your pain and I know you're sorry for the pain you caused. You never wanted to hurt anyone.

All my love, Stephie/Tessie

Miss you, old friend. You added color to my college years. I remember you for your humor above all. I have fond memories of us going shooting and driving. And that giant sword you made for the KC Weekend costume dance. Rest in peace until the resurrection.

Some people are just magnetic; Charlie was one of those people. I've got a particularly great memory of cutting up with him in San Antonio at the riverwalk mall. I hope your in a good place man, you're missed back here.

We spent a trip to Kenya together (Charlie, myself, and my brother Marshall) in 2008, with a quick 4-day stopover in London. I accidentally booked our London stay in a low-value part of town - our first clue was the manager at the inn being aghast that we had “a reservation?!” The other guests at breakfast in the mornings all seemed to share a common occupation - the oldest one. We spent 4 days sightseeing, imitating every sign we could find, laughing about our accommodations (B&B&B - bed, breakfast, and brothel), and having an absolutely great time. Charlie in a shouting competition in an English pub with an Indian cook hollering “bah-ted chicken!!” back and forth is among many priceless good-time memories from that trip.

So many fun memories with Charlie! Charlie, Meagan, Michael, and I went to The Used concert last year and had an absolute blast! Jumping, singing, and just having a fun time! I’ve been to tons of concerts but that one was one of the most fun ones I’ve ever been to. We laughed and joked the entire time and it was just a great night. His laughter and jokes are something I will miss a lot.

Charlie, Meagan, Piper, and I at the Renaissance Fair in Waxahachie in 2025. It was raining all day but something like that doesn't bring Charlie's spirits down. He was as excited as always to be there, and we were happy to have the opportunity to spend time with him. We don't normally take pictures together, but something came over us that day to change our minds and I'm really glad that we did.

Donation

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Blackland Prairie Raptor Rescue. The preservation of natural Texas prairieland and the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of raptors was a cause Charlie donated to whenever he could. We would love to raise enough to sponsor the release of one of Charlie's favorite birds of prey.
