A devoted husband, Charles shared an unwavering bond with Sandra Crimmins Wheeler, his beloved wife. Together, they navigated life's journey with steadfast support and mutual respect, creating a foundation of love and stability for their family. Charles is survived by Sandra, their two daughters Dia and Emily, and their four grandsons Ethan, Charles, Eli and Alex, who were his pride and joy.
Throughout his life, Charles was known for his stoic demeanor and solid character. Friends and family could always count on him for his wise, calm counsel and his ability to weather any storm with grace. His reliability extended beyond his personal life; it was a fundamental part of who he was, instilling confidence in all who knew him.
One of Charles' greatest passions was sports cars, a love that added an exhilarating spark to his otherwise steadfast nature. He appreciated the artistry and engineering of these magnificent machines, often reminiscing about their craftsmanship and the sheer joy of driving them.
Though he enjoyed the thrill of the open road, Charles’ heart belonged to his family. His love for them was both deep and abiding, nurturing a home filled with warmth, respect, and unspoken but deeply felt adoration. He leaves behind a legacy of love and integrity that will forever be treasured by his wife, children, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
