Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us everyday-unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.

Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles F Tasco, who left this world surrounded by love and cherished memories. A devoted husband, brother, father, and grandfather, Charles lived a life filled with love and laughter.

Charles was the beloved husband of Elizabeth, his soulmate and the love of his life. Together, they shared a bond that inspired everyone around them, dancing through life to the rhythm of their favorite oldies. Their love story began in high school and grew into a timeless bond, a true reflection of unwavering devotion.

A brother and proud father, Charles is survived by his brother Joe, his two children, Lindsay and Casey. They carry forward his legacy of kindness, humor, and strength. Charles took immense pride in his close-knit family, which included Lindsay and her husband Robert, as well as Casey and his wife Heather.

Charles was also the adoring grandfather of Brody and Kenley, who filled his days with laughter and light. His grandkids were his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent watching them grow.

Charlie will be fondly remembered for his cleverness and love for life’s simple joys—whether it was dancing with Beth, sitting on the back deck with a cold beer listening to oldies, or cracking jokes that left everyone laughing. Known for his quick wit, playful sarcasm, and a flair for the dramatics. Charlie had a knack for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable ones. His charm extended beyond humor. Beneath his antics and laughter was a man who loved deeply, lived fully, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

No formal funeral services will be held. The family appreciates your love and support during this time and encourages you to remember him in a way that brings you love and laughter.

I remember Charlie most for our 4 years of football together. He was a passionate linebacker. I remember one day at practice coach kept running the same play over and over until we " got it right" Of course Charlie knew where I would be running the ball and greeted me as I hit the line with harder and harder hits. I could hardly walk after that practice!!! I spend all Fridays practice trying to work out the knot in my thigh so I could play on Saturday. Rest in peace my friend.

I have so many wonderful memories of Charlie and Beth. The cruise we took together was a wonderful experience. Hanging at the Wine Cellar and the shenanigans, dancing and music will stay with me forever. When I think of him, a smile comes instantly. I could talk with him about anything, he was a great listener and friend. Charlie will forever hold a place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers for the entire family and everyone else he touched, like me.
