Obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Catherine, who was born on June 28th, 1963 and passed away on June 30th, 2026.
Catherine, also well known as Booba, will be remembered for her light, her humor, and the quiet ability to bring people together. Family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues all experienced the warmth and sincerity that made time spent with Booba meaningful.
Throughout life, she built lasting connections and touched many lives through simple acts of care, encouragement, and friendship. She was a lot of things, but above all else, she was a mom. The best one at that. It was her favorite role, and the one she wore with the most pride. Loving her family wasn’t something she had to think about, it was simply who she was. She was also a devoted wife to her husband, a wonderful sister to her four siblings, and the kind of aunt who made everyone feel like they belonged. Not only was she an aunt to many, but she became "Booba" to most. Too many to name. Conversations, shared moments, and everyday gestures created memories that will remain with those who had the privilege of knowing her. Family meant a great deal to her and relationships were always nurtured with love and laughs.
The flowers she planted will continue to bloom, but the greatest thing she ever grew was her family. That is the legacy she leaves behind, and it is one we will carry with us every day.
The passing of Catherine leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet the memories, lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. She leaves behind a family that was incredibly lucky to be loved by her. We will miss her laughter, her wit, her advice, and the way she made home feel like the safest place in the world.
Booba will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
