Carlos was born on December 15, 1944, in Lima, Perú. He grew up in Callao and La Punta. He graduated from the historic Colegio Don Bosco del Callao. He enjoyed eating and drinking in the company of family and friends, and he was famous for the eloquence of both his toasts and his prayers.

Memory wall
Your laugh and your giggle will stay with me forever. It was contagious and it made you feel warm and loved. Such a gentle soul. I will always remember that every time you arrived to a family gathering, it was always a celebration! Definitely an incomplete family gathering without you. You will be missed tremendously my sweet Uncle. I love you. Rest easy. ❤️🙏
Thank you, uncle Charlie. You will always be remembered.
What a life, eh? I remember the first time I met you. I think it was the summer of 84, maybe? You know, the one where the five of us girls terrorized Bonaventure all summer. Yeah, that one. And you took us for rides in your shiny, blue Cadillac. Your pride and joy (no offense, Anita and Claudia). Even at such a young age, I recall how proud you were of that car and how you kept her shiny and beautiful. I have many memories with you and all of them were good. I never saw a bad side of you. You were humble, sweet, happy, hard-working, and goofy. You will be missed by many. I know I am one of them. May you rest peacefully, never work another day in your life, and may you cruise the skies in your brand-new heavenly Cadillac (let's make this one a convertible, shall we?), with the top down, NOT checking out the cute ladies up there. Until we meet again, keep smiling and dancing. Love you Uncle Charlie!
PS: We did NOT experiment with cigarettes in the lounge of the hotel you worked at. Nothing to worry about (Wink, wink; nudge, nudge).
