Obituary
Brian Kanouff, 57, passed away on June 27, 2026.
Brian was born on July 21, 1968, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, and was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the son of Nancy L. Roberts and Charles B. Kanouff.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles B. Kanouff, and his half-brother, Brett Kanouff.
Brian is survived by his mother, Nancy L. Roberts; his common-law wife, Lois Robbins; his daughters, Heather Kanouff of Arizona, Christina Kanouff Humke of NM, and Samantha Kanouff of TN; his brothers, William Dunsmore of PA, and Charles Kanouff Jr. of HI; his two half siblings; his three nephews, one niece, and four beloved grandchildren..
To know Brian was to know someone who lived life on his own terms. He was a true free spirit with an infectious sense of humor, a generous heart, and a way of making those around him feel loved. He never hesitated to help someone in need-if he had something and you needed it, it was now yours. His kindness wasn't measured by what he had, but by what he was always willing to give.
Brian's love for his family and friends ran deep, and his laughter, stories, and unforgettable personality left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He reminded those around him not to take life too seriously, to find joy where they could, and to lead with compassion.
He ended many of his letters with the words, "Mad Love." Those two words perfectly reflected the way he lived-loving deeply, giving freely, and leaving behind a legacy of generosity, laughter, and a heart that knew no limits.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with Mad Love.
