Obituary
Brian Eric Harris, born 30 April 1957, passed away peacefully on 15 May 2026 at the age of 69. A beloved resident of Kirstenhof, Cape Town, Brian is fondly remembered as a generous, courageous, and kind man who placed family at the heart of his life.
Brian’s warmth and caring nature touched everyone who knew him. Whether he was offering a helping hand or sharing a friendly smile, his generosity knew no bounds. Friends and family were always welcomed in his home with open arms, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
He is survived by his loving wife Lynette, son Dean, sister Marion and brothers Wally and Ant. Brian’s legacy lives on through the values he imparted— kindness, courage, and the importance of putting others first.
A Memorial service will be held on 25 May 2026 at 10:00am at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Kirstenhof, where family, friends and those who loved Brian will gather to honour his life and memory. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will inspire all who knew him.
