Obituary
Brent Hoskins Crosby, 74, passed away on June Wednesday 17th at Lakeview hospital in Bountiful Utah. He was accompanied by his son and brother in his last moments.
Brent was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 3rd 1952, the youngest of three brothers to Harvey and Cossette Crosby. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael, and two granddaughters. He is survived by his only son, Nick and his family, his brother Arnold and family, and multiple nieces and nephews and their respective families.
He was a talented musician appearing on Dick Clark and touring with his bandmates in the late 60's and 70's. He worked throughout his life as a crafts person, setting tiles and pouring his artistry into every job he did. He managed sales and offices treating everyone with care and dignity that they will never forget. He served as a caregiver for his parents toward the end of their lives, allowing them to spend their final years in their home. In his retirement, he worked as a parts runner for an autoparts store taking pride in every achievement and award they received. Every task he took on, he gave it his all.
He had a passion for the outdoors, especially when it involved playing golf. He spent years playing multiple times a week with friends and family. He remembered every shot, his hole in one, but mainly the conversation he had with those he played with. Those long walks were always opportunities to listen and share. They meant a great deal to him.
In lieu of services, the family asks that people remember him in their own way as Brent meant different things in different ways to everyone he knew. But it is suggested that at some point in time those remembering him should take a moment to think of him while listening to Clair De Lune.
