With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Brennen, who was born on December 20th, 2008 and passed away on September 19th, 2026 in {location}.
Brennen will be remembered for kindness, generosity, and the quiet ability to bring people together. Family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues all experienced the warmth and sincerity that made time spent with Brennen meaningful.
Throughout life, Brennen built lasting connections and touched many lives through simple acts of care, encouragement, and friendship. Conversations, shared moments, and everyday gestures created memories that will remain with those who had the privilege of knowing Brennen.
Family meant a great deal to Brennen, and relationships were always nurtured with patience and devotion. Friends valued loyalty and sincerity, while colleagues appreciated dedication and a thoughtful approach to work and collaboration.
The passing of Brennen leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet the memories, lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know Brennen.
Brennen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

There was never a dull moment with Brennen. His smile that lit up a room and laugh you could never forget. There’s so many positives to remember Brennen by but one that stands out to me the most personally is him taking on becoming a peer buddy in best buddies after asking him later in the year to do it together; he truly embraced it fully. Having classes with brennen throughout high-school, spending weekends with our friends, and even Lacny family parties are truly highlights that bring me joy to think about. Brennen made an impact on people around him in a way that will never be forgotten. Watching Brennen care so much about Family, Friends, and our Anika showed just how big his heart is. Many Thoughts and Prayers will be with the Saele family.

Brennan was one of Dylan’s first friends when we moved to New Lenox. Gen, you and Brennan made such a difference with Dylan getting adjusted to a new town and school. Those Jr Knights days were something lol! Both of you are bright lights in this crazy world, Brennan’s light still shines. We will always remember him with a smile. All our love and prayers to you, Mike, and Landon. May god carry you through each day and bring you peace and comfort. My mama heart aches for you, hugs and hugs. ❤️

Brennen was in my physics class last year, he always had a such a bright smile on his face, he was my table mate second semester and we would share notes and catch each other up when one of us were absent. We did a project together called “Rube Goldberg Machine”. He will forever be missed and I will always pray you him and his family.

While I have not seen Brennen for what I think is ten years, I very clearly recall a polite young man, with a glowing smile. I can’t think of a more loving family, and express my deepest condolences to Genesis, Mike, and Landen.

Brennen will always be Lucas’ first friend. All the play dates, Gymboree classes, library story times — that season will forever be remembered in my mind by Brennen and Gen. Thinking of and praying for you guys constantly.

Brennen and I were so excited to finally have a class together and sat with eachother during math. I will never forget us talking about weekend plans and literally anything not math related. I’ll never forget our drawing contests and his sense of humor that never failed to brighten my mood, even on days where I was at my lowest. He was such a light in my life and i’m so grateful and proud to call him one of my closest friends.

My favorite memory I have with Brennen is going to the Lumineers concert with him, Anika, and Dylan. On the train ride there, we were playing the songs to see how much we knew, and he knew every single one. Not only this but the way he cared for his girlfriend always touched my heart. I looked up to their relationship so much. They truly were perfect for each other. He was so respectful and always knew how to cheer everyone up. There was absolutely nothing bad you can say about him.
