Obituary

Brenda - beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend left our world Friday, April 4, enveloped in love and with family and friends by her side. 

She lived her days boldly and fearlessly, giving cancer the bird every step of the way during her nine-year journey with the disease.
From Dominica to Alaska, Southeast Asia, to Europe, Central and South America and beyond, Brenda’s adventurous, globe-trotting spirit forged friendships in nearly every corner of world. To say she will be missed doesn’t come close.

For those of us lucky enough to love Brenda, the loss is immeasurable. Her laughter, her courage, and her unshakable spirit leave a space no one else could ever fill. There is comfort knowing that she is finally at peace.

Brenda was one of a kind yet a kindred spirit to many. I see her all the time in so many dimensions. I laugh and cry and smile and giggle her thoughts. Brenda, you will never leave my heart. You are in my water supply and I am grateful for that. And I miss you plenty. Too much it’s painful. But I am grateful for that also. I will never forget your effervescence. I love you.
