It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

For my beautiful Brenda
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not meant to be,
So he put his arms around you
and whispered "Come to Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,
as we saw you pass away.
Although we loved you deeply,
we could not make you stay.
Your Golden Heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the very best.

You shall forever live in my heart

You are a thousand winds that blow.
You are the diamond glint of snow.
You are the sunlight on ripened grain.
You are the gentle autumn's rain.
The color of first mornings blush
You are the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circle flight.
You are the soft stars that shine at night.
You are the silver in the moon's glow
The love you gave for us to now show.

We shall remember you looking
into secret gardens and fairies sight
living life boldly and beautifully
spreading your love and light
