With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Brandy, who was born on January 25, 1974 and passed away on June 9, 2026 in Syracuse, NY.
Brandy possessed a radiant smile that could brighten any room and a magnetic warmth that effortlessly drew people to her. With a genuinely welcoming spirit, Brandy made everyone feel seen, valued, and loved, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Brandy was born in Redding, CA on January 25, 1974 to Louis and Linda Carricato. She is survived by her Mother Linda Carricato, Her children Joshua Carricato and Makayla Montano. Her sisters Angela Carricato, Misty Woidtke and Bobbi Crispen. Her brothers Louise Carricato and George Crispen. Her many many nieces Briana, Megan, Aubrie, Bailey, Payton, and Kinzlee. As well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

It's so weird that you're gone! It's been so long since I've seen you and we've talked but it's still just unexpected and unreal at the moment. When I was reading your obituary and tribute I was reminded by a sentence in there of your gorgeous amazing smile! Whenever I've thought of you that's what I think of. You will never be forgotten, and I know that your entire family is going to miss you so much. Love you and will miss you!

I love you Mom. I haven't forgot about any of the memories we have together. You always did what you could for me and extra, even when it wasn't possible for you. You went through more than anybody else I know, and remained so strong. You were the smartest person I knew. Every time I had something going on, you knew what to do. You did everything to try and make me have a normal life. I know how much you loved me, ever since I was a baby. Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for all of the awesome music and movies you introduced me to. Thank you for giving me the best childhood and time when I lived in New York with you.
