Chief (Dr.) Benjamin Oluwadare Daramola

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me, so that you also may be where I am - John 14:1-3

Obituary

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our father and patriarch of our clan, Chief Dr. Daramola Benjamin Oluwadare of Aisegba, who went to rest in the bosom of the Lord on 23rd June 2026. A beloved father, senior, mentor, and community leader, he has left a profound void in the hearts of all who had the honour of knowing him.

Dr. Benjamin will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the quiet ability to bring people together. Family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues all experienced the warmth and sincerity that made time spent with him truly meaningful. A man of wisdom, integrity, and compassion, he lived a life of purpose that touched hearts within Aisegba and far beyond its borders.

Throughout his life, Dr. Benjamin built lasting connections and touched many lives through simple acts of care, encouragement, and friendship. As a distinguished son of Aisegba and a proud member of the Ekiti Parapo, having passed out in 1965, he embodied the values of service, dedication, and unwavering community spirit. Conversations, shared moments, and everyday gestures created memories that will remain with all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family meant a great deal to Dr. Benjamin, and relationships were always nurtured with patience and devotion. Friends valued his loyalty and sincerity, while colleagues and community members appreciated his dedication and thoughtful approach to leadership and collaboration. He lived a life defined by wisdom, integrity, and service to others, and those qualities shaped every space he entered.

The passing of Dr. Benjamin leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet the memories, lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. He will be deeply missed by his children, his family, his friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Dr. Benjamin will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A great tree has fallen, but his legacy will continue to inspire generations.

Burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
