Obituary

Bambi Lynn Kitchin, 55, of Cornville, Lost her 13 year battle with Alzheimer's on July 25,2026, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 2, 1970, the daughter of Clifford Jr and Madilyn (Faulkingham) Chandler. She spent most of her childhood summers with her parents and family in Jonesport and on Beals Island.

She graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1989 and continued her education a Kennebec Valley Community College where she was pursuing her LPN. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends where she was always the life of the party. She had the biggest heart and would help anyone in need.

She met Troy Scott Kitchin in 1990 at the roller skating rink in Winslow. They were happily married on July 11, 1992. In April 1994 they welcomed their daughter Tanisha Pauline into the world.

Through the years she worked at Woodlawn Nursing Home and then several department stores in town. She worked at Skowhegan Walmart for 17 years where she was always the first to help someone and could put a smile on anyone's face with her kind caring words.

Bambi was a Girl Scout Leader for many years, along with being a field hockey and softball mom who would always be cheering the loudest from the sidelines.

She was always known for having her camera with her everywhere she went and capturing every moment. Some of her other hobbies were scrapbooking and crossstitch.

Bambi was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's in 2013, she fought a long battle like the stubborn fighter that she always had been.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years Troy S. Kitchin of Cornville; Son Liam Savoy and husband Finley Savoy of Cornville; her father and mother Clifford Jr and Madilyn Chandler of Skowhegan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Ronald and Hazel Faulkingham of Beals Island; and her paternal grandparents Clifford Sr and Juanita Chandler of Jonesport.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday August 7th from 5pm-8pm at the Poulin-Turner Union Pace Hall, 652 Waterville Rd in Skowhegan; With a grave side service Saturday August 8th at 10Am at the Maplewood Cemetery in Fairfield.
