In loving memory of a life well-lived and deeply cherished.

Obituary

Arnold Colonna, aged 91, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family and dog, Lucy. Born on December 10, 1934, in Endicott, New York, Arnold lived a life marked by devotion to family, unfaltering work ethic, and a warm generosity that touched everyone who knew him.

A proud Italian and devout Catholic, Arnold's values were apparent in his every action. He served his country with distinction as a member of the US Army Honor Guard, carrying himself with honor and duty that would extend throughout his life.

Graduating with a degree in engineering from San Jose State University, Arnold built a fulfilling career, always striving to create and innovate. He applied his sharp mind and hands-on skill not just in his professional life, but also in his many hobbies—earning his private pilot license, building a car by hand, painting, and exploring the joys of tennis, golf, snow and water skiing. An avid sports fan, he cheered faithfully for Bay Area teams, never missing a chance to enjoy a good game with friends or family. In his youth, Arnold played on his high school basketball team, already forging the spirit of teamwork and perseverance that would define him.

For 67 years, Arnold was the loving and devoted husband of Barbara, cherishing their life together and creating a home filled with laughter, warmth, and steadfast support. He took immense pride in his family, always placing them at the heart of his life. He is survived by his wife Barbara; his daughters Edie and Anita; son-in-law David Neil; grandchildren Tyler, Craig, and Rachel Neil; son-in-law Carlvin Paris; and grandchildren Megan and Haeli Paris.

Arnold will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for his role as a loyal friend, a generous heart, and a guiding presence. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he loved so well.
