Obituary

With broken hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Arlene,

Born February 23, 1959, who left us on August 21, 2026, in Brea, California.

Arlene was a cherished daughter, sister, cousin, niece, auntie, and friend. She was so many things to so many people, but to our family, she was the glue that held our world together. Her absence has left a space that words cannot begin to describe.

Arlene fought with superhuman strength and determination. For nearly 6 months she kept her amazing attitude and most importantly, her Faith! She never wavered in belief and fully trusted that everything is (and always will be) according to “God’s Plan”.  She was passionate, daring, and unafraid (or at least never let fear stop her) from loving, living, laughing and most of all dancing.

Her family and friends were always by her side. Thank you all! Whether through thought, prayer or physical presence, she was always surrounded by everyone's love and support. Even though her body could endure no more, she bravely fought til her very last breath. Even then, she never faced this alone.

We find comfort in knowing that Arlene is now in God’s presence, reunited with her family and loved ones. She is free — no longer hurting, no longer struggling, and finally whole again. We picture her dancing, looking at all of us and saying, "Don't be sad, I WILL see you all again."

Arlene’s love, strength, humor, and unforgettable spirit will remain with us always. She was deeply loved, she will be profoundly missed, and she will never be forgotten.
