Obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Antonio (Tony) Manuel Pastor, who was born on Sept 18, 1967 and passed away on Sept 6, 2026 in Garfield County, Utah.
Tony will be remembered for kindness, generosity, and the quiet ability to bring people together. Family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues all experienced the warmth and sincerity that made time spent with Tony meaningful.
Throughout life, Tony built lasting connections and touched many lives through simple acts of care, encouragement, and friendship. Conversations, shared moments, and everyday gestures created memories that will remain with those who had the privilege of knowing Tony. Family meant a great deal to Tony, and relationships were always nurtured with patience and devotion.
To say that Tony loved motorcycling would be an understatement. Over the many years he rode countless roads, shared countless miles, and made many great friends along the way. At times, we would reflect on how our passion for riding had shaped our lives and the people we had met along the journey. Motorcycling enriched our lives and truly lit our spirits for living. We always understood and accepted the risks that came with riding. Tony was an excellent and capable rider, but as we all know, sometimes our fate is simply beyond our control. Tony was larger than life in both personality and spirit. He loved engaging in conversation and passionate debate, and he never hesitated to share his thoughts. He had a unique way of leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Tony leaves behind his beloved wife, Jodi Pastor; his mother, Helena Rego; his brother, Joe Pastor; his sisters, Ilda Soaras and Helen Medeiros; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply. He was predeceased by his father, Antonio Pastor.

The passing of Tony leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet the memories, lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know Tony.
Tony will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Our deepest condolences to Jody, Tony's beloved wife, and his entire family. Tony was truly and amazing person, and my children and I were blessed to have known him. His passing is heartbreaking, and there are simply no words that can explain or define the pain that everyone who loved him must be feeling right now.
May Tonly's memory live on forever in the hearts of everyone who knew him. And Jody may you continue to feel his love surrounding you, guiding you and giving you strength, and reminding you that the love you shared will never fade. He may no longer be riding beside you, but his love will always ride with you.
Rest peacefully, Tony you were truly loved and will never be forgotten .

I have no words and we are so terribly heartbroken to lose our dearest friend Tony for over 40 years. I will miss our dinners together, New Year’s Eve together, and most of all vacations and fishing trips which Tony just always loved to do. He was such a kind man who always went out of his way to help people, he loved dogs and he loved nature and enjoying life! I never saw a couple love each other so much as Jodi and Tony. We love you Jodi, my bff, my sister and just know Louie, myself, Britt and Kiki will always be here for you. Tony god bless and know you’ll forever be in our hearts. I knew Tony from two motorcycle trips we took together. The first was the Smoky Mountains trip August 2022 and then another to West Virginia in August 2024. During those trips, I learned that Tony is an amazing rider and an even better person. He was brutally honest but also kind and generous. I am so saddened by his passing and I extend my deepest condolences to Jodi and his family.
I am reminded of a quote from Neil Peart on the song The Garden which is - "The measure of a life is a measure of love and respect" - Tony had that in spades!

It’s been 25 years since Jackie and I met Tony. It’s amazing how we went from that first meeting to soon feeling like old friends. We count ourselves lucky to have had a friend like that.
Tony was fun loving in many different ways. On one of the early Watkins Glen trips we were taking a short break from riding. We’d stopped at a McDonalds. I believe it was a Sunday shortly after church had let out. The restaurant was packed with bikers and church goers. All of a sudden there was a shriek. Jackie had been standing near the front waiting for me, Tony had come up behind her and tapped her on her shoulder. When she turned around there was Tony with Billy-Bob teeth in and a big grin like he was showing off his favorite tooth. The whole restaurant was suddenly looking towards Jackie and Tony. I’m not sure if that was the biggest reaction that Tony ever got to one of his pranks but I’d think it was near the top 10. Later that day
Tony was so amazing at bargaining, not just for himself and Jodi, but friends also. The jacket that I wear on every ride is one that Tony and a few of us got at Americade. Tony found them first and when I expressed interest in getting the same style of jacket he went to the vendor with me to ensure I got as good a deal as he did. When there were none left on hand that fit me he cajoled the vendor into agreeing to getting more shipped priority so that I could get one before the end of Americade. He was the sort of friend that would encourage, support and go to bat for others.
It always seemed that Tony was one of the most gregarious of our group. Folks of all backgrounds were more likely to approach Tony than many of our other members. I’ve seen him enthusiastically chatting to little old ladies and men, kids and the parents of those kids.
Tony, you will be missed, always remembered with love and never forgotten.

Tony, you lived life doing what you loved most — riding and making memories along the way. Fernando was so lucky to share so many rides and great times with you. We met through a mutual friend, and from the very beginning, we loved spending time with you and Jody.

We met Tony some 30 years ago when he married our good friend Jodi. During these years, we went on many camping and ski trips with unforgettable moments and laughs. Tony’s love for life was contagious but what we envied most was the love he had for his beautiful wife Jodi. She was his entire world. Tony’s eyes would twinkle each and every time he looked at her.
We will miss his warm smile, his gentle knowing advice, and his generous selfless love ❤️🙏🏻

Tony we’ve known each other since we were teenagers. You are my best man at my wedding. We’ve skied mountains in BC and Quebec. We’ve had amazing experiences throughout our friendship. I love you and I will miss you dearly. RIP

When I think of you, I hear the roar of an engine. For you, the motorcycle wasn't just a passion or a hobby; it was your way of life, your freedom, and your way of breathing fully.
We spent hundreds of hours on the road together. I remember our rides—times when the odometer didn't matter, and all that counted were the miles ahead, the wind in our faces, and the feeling of absolute freedom. Tony, you were a friend who could always be counted on—both on the road and in life. I will never forget the respect you showed your Jodi whenever you called your beloved wife after a long day’s ride; I witnessed it many times.
They say bikers live fast. You lived beautifully. Your energy, that signature smile from beneath your helmet, and the passion you shared with everyone around you will stay with us forever. Every roar of an engine on the road will remind us of you.
We will miss your voice over the intercom, our coffee stops, and planning our next routes. Left hand up in salute, my friend, wherever you are now. We hope that up there, the highways never end, the curves are perfect, and the fuel never runs out.

Tony and I met for the first time on this trip to Utah I was drawn by his spirited personality and the way he made everyone feel around him, we shared a common love for Harley Davidson motorcycle’s, I am saddened by his passing, it was a privilege for me to meet this beautiful human being, I will remember him forever and his good heart.

I've known Tony for many of years on mutual motorcycle trips. I knew if Tony was going to be on the trip, there would be a lot of laughs, fun and sometimes some great debates. Tony was never shy to say his opinion, he was very passionate on his views. On this trip, I learned a lot about Tony's past growing up, we spent a lot of time in the pools and hot tubs in the hotels we were staying at.
Tony loved his Harley Davidson, and I was always impressed how he handled the bike. A matter of fact, I told him a couple of times on this trip, he looked very cool coming around the corner with him tucked behind the big bat wing. I also observed how he always called Jodi and his mom, I could see how important family was to him.
May he R.I.P. and may he ride the twisties into eternity!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tony last year during a motorcycle trip to Pennsylvania. During the ride, my bike experienced a mechanical problem, and Tony immediately stepped in to help. With his kindness and willingness to lend a hand, he patched things up well enough for me to continue the trip. That simple act of kindness said a great deal about the kind of person Tony was.
Of all the group rides I have participated in over the years, that trip remains one of the most enjoyable and memorable. Tony’s wonderful sense of humour was a large part of that. The friendly banter between Tony and Fred over the comms kept me laughing throughout.
Tony was an incredibly warm, friendly and engaging personality. His presence genuinely lifted my spirits, and although I knew him for far too short a time, I feel fortunate to have shared that memorable ride with him.

A bit of time has passed now, and 2,200 km later we are all back home after completing our tour of Utah. Tony has since been repatriated home to Canada, bringing him closer to all of us who loved and rode with him.
Day 5 was a deeply traumatic experience, and Tony’s sudden death is something none of us will ever forget. Yet, in the midst of something so painful, I believe his passing brought us closer together as a group. We looked after one another, shared some of the hardest moments of our lives, and somehow kept moving forward.
Along the way, we experienced sights and scenery that exceeded even our highest expectations. We met colorful characters, collected stories, and accumulated enough dust to last until the next tour.
The final day of riding was particularly special. Carving through the red-rock canyons at a pace that allowed us to take in the majesty of the landscape—and the occasional cow casually crossing the road without a care for our schedule—was a fitting tribute: beautiful roads, good company, and a reminder of why we ride.
There will still be difficult days ahead for many of us, but the sun will shine again.
We will ride again.

While we will miss you greatly, and you were taken far too early, I am grateful that we got to share some time together in this short ride called life. I am also grateful that you left this world doing what you were so passionate about (in addition to your shared love of family and landscaping).

I met Tony 26 years ago, and over those years we shared so many wonderful times—our twice-yearly PA rides, Lake George, trips to West Virginia, the Smokies, Ohio, Watkins Glen, and so much more.
Tony was a great traveling companion. His passion and enthusiasm touched everyone around him. His loss leaves a huge chasm that can sometimes feels impossible to fill.
All we can do is hold close the wonderful memories we made and take solace in knowing that he will forever remain in our hearts and souls.
