Antonio Battistel, a loving husband, caring father, father-in law and amazing Nonno, passed away peacefully on 3rd September 2024, at the age of 87.

Born on 17th October 1936, Antonio lived a life marked by love, dedication, and service to others.

Antonio Battistel leaves behind a lasting footprint of love and faith. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace.

A happy, caring, gentle yet strong man. A wonderful husband and father who I spent many hours with growing up with your children. You built a home and family that was welcome, warm and full of life.

I visited the Vatican today and lite a candle reflecting on a wonderful life and sending love to the family.

Rest in peace now.
