Obituary

Albert “Sonny” Dalton Gleason, age 70, of Louisa, Virginia, passed away on August 9, 2026, in Mineral, Virginia.

Albert will be remembered as a loyal friend, dog lover, and an avid fisherman who was a valued member of his community. He enjoyed the outdoors and the simple pleasure of time spent fishing, and he leaves behind many memories that will be cherished by those who knew and loved him.

Albert was preceded in death by his father, Albert William Gleason; his mother, Barbara Jane Gleason; and his sister, Linda Leroy.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Katie Gleason and Kelli Barron, along with family, friends, and members of the community.

Albert’s memory will live on through his daughters, his loved ones, and the many stories and memories shared by those fortunate enough to have known him. May he be remembered whenever the water is calm, the fish are biting, and good friends gather together.
