Obituary

Aidan Lewis Bentham, born on October 4, 1997, passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 28. Remembered by all who knew him for his warmth, humour, and deeply compassionate spirit, Aidan touched many lives during his years.
Aidan had an unwavering commitment to helping and healing others. His acts of kindness, big and small, often came quietly and without expectation of any recognition. Friends and acquaintances alike recall how his sense of humor lit up a room, and his playful goofiness made even ordinary days brighter.

Known for his caring nature, Aidan offered support and friendship to anyone in need. He was guided by his thoughtful spirituality that inspired those around him to be kinder and more accepting.

Though his time with us was far too short, Aidan’s gentle heart and generous spirit remain a lasting influence. He believed that this life was just a single step on a grander journey into eternity. Now free from pain and liberated from his earthly bounds, may he fly free amongst the stars and find the peace he brought into this world.

He is and will always be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A beautiful soul has returned to the Universe.

I remember our bus rides to town laughing frantically at every branch that hit the window, back when our hardest decision was which colour crayon we would use. Causes my mother mayhem in the house and always blaming it on Ashley (sorry Ashley). The times when you would force the window shut in the car to stop me from scaring pedestrians. When you was a bouncer in cameo, we both double took at each other, and you said “bloody hell, you can get out!” We drifted because life happens, but when we was together it was like we had never been apart, back to our childish ways, causing chaos and full of laughter with some deep meaning conversations along the way. You are dearly missed. Your free. Rest in peace Aidan.

What a twat he was, the good kind I'll let you know, but a twat non the less. The kind of person to do something stupid in a funny way and make a room laugh, or brighten a day with a funny remark. It's a shame your gone man, a really big fucking shame. Me and everyone else will miss you, but at least your at peace now. Rest easy Aiden

I worked with Aidan for around a year.

Every time he was on my shift, it was better. He was so fun and full of advice and kindness. He really was such a unique and brave person. He helped me through a lot at that time, he truly did.

I am truly devastated to have heard this news- I hope he has found peace.

I remember when you came with dad to come pick me up after spending the day with some of my friends and instead of saying hi you got out the car and did a back flip then got back in without a word XD
