In Loving Memory of My Dearest Cousin
I am still completely shattered and struggling to process the reality that you are gone. It feels impossible to accept a world without your light, especially when you were so vibrantly here just moments before you left us.
On the very day of your passing, you were still doing what you always did best—pouring out pure care, warmth, and love to my wife and my daughter. You were filled with so much excitement as we talked about your plans to host the three of us at your place. It had been nearly a decade since we last saw each other in person, and we were both looking forward to that beautiful, long-awaited reunion. It breaks my heart entirely that we never got to share that embrace, but I find a small comfort knowing that your final hours were filled with so much love for my little family.
With you gone, my mind keeps drifting back to the foundation of our bond—our irreplaceable childhood. I will forever treasure the golden days we spent growing up together, counting down the days until the holidays so we could look forward to spending them at our grandparents' place or at your house. I can still vividly picture us sneaking off, completely carefree and full of laughter, just to take Tomi’s bicycle for rides.
You shared my earliest, happiest memories, and losing you feels like losing a piece of my own youth. Distance kept us apart for years, but our hearts never drifted.
Rest in perfect peace, my beautiful cousin. The love you gave us will stay alive in our hearts every single day. You are forever loved and deeply missed.
You were more than a sister to him; you were a source of strength, comfort, and encouragement. Someone everyone could count on, someone who stood by so many, and someone whose presence made life a little easier to navigate.
Rest peacefully, Josephine. Your love, kindness, and the impact you made on the lives of those around you will never be forgotten. 🕊️
