Abzal Khan

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Abzal, born on January 2, 1947, and who left us on May 27, 2026.
Born in Trinidad;Port of Spain, Abzal—also known as Lal, Trini, and 2D is the name and cabbing is the Game—will be remembered for his loud mouth, colorful language, and unmatched ability to make people laugh. Family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues all experienced the warmth, sincerity, and humor that made every moment with him unforgettable.
Throughout his life, Abzal built lasting connections and touched countless lives through simple acts of care, encouragement, and friendship. Conversations, shared moments, and everyday gestures created memories that will remain with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends meant everything to Abzal. And while he was loving and generous, when his “flag” went up, he was loyal to a fault—fiercely protective of the people he cared about.
His passing leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet the memories, lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Abzal Khan will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
