Today, i find it difficult to put into words the profound impact Biodun as i fondly call you had on each of us, yet we find solace in our shared memories and the indelible mark he has left behind.
Abiodun Soyele and i met in 1977 at the Federal School of Arts and Sciences Ondo and ever since we have been very close. Kind, studious and a lover of photography.
One of the most remarkable things about Simeon was his passion for life. He embraced every moment with enthusiasm and an open heart. Whether it was through our times together in our A level days and our days in the University of Ibadan he showed me the importance of pursuing our passions and living authentically.
As i reflect on my times with Abiodun I remember the countless moments of laughter, the heartfelt conversations, and the adventures we shared.
Ironically both our wives bears the same name (FUNKE) and are close as we’re.
Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

I couldn't believe you are gone Uncle Biodun, as we fondly call you. I recollect you called me some weeks before your demise, intimating on the need to call a meeting of the Soyele Royal family, not knowing it was our last conversation. Uncle you surely lived a good life. You were an orator, an Administrator per excellent as confirmed by your colleagues. My prayers go to your immediate family and the entire Soyele dynasty, that God should grant us the fortitude to bear this big loss.Adieu Prince Simeon Abiodun Soyele.

Our dear co-worker in the vineyard, Pastor Simeon Abiodun Soyele.
I still can't believe I am writing a tribute because of your passing..
Words can not describe this difficult moment, as the news of your death came to us as a rude shock.
You touched so many lives by your selfless and countless acts of kindness.
Always giving and never expecting any favours in return..
Although we loved you dearly, we couldn't make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes "The Best".
Even though your soul has departed from earth, you'll always remain in our hearts.
While we mourn today, we also take comfort in the fact that your mission on earth has been fulfilled.
We thank the Lord for your life and bid you farewell.
Rest in perfect peace until we meet to part no more.
Pastor and Deaconess E.O. Oladipupo.

My Dear sister, Mrs Funke Soyele and family, I'm deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our dear friend and colleague, Pastor Prince Abiodun Soyele. My heart goes out to you in this time of grief. His dedication to serving the Lord and his flock was truly inspiring, and his legacy will continue to impact many lives. Even in his final moments, he remained faithful to his calling, ministering on the pulpit, participated during the Sunday School class under my teachings until the end. What a testament to his unwavering commitment to God's work! To you, his loved ones, I offer these words of comfort: May the GRACE of our LORD embrace and surround you, bringing peace and strength in the days ahead. Hold fast to the hope and faith that Pastor Soyele exemplified so beautifully. His memory will be a blessing to you, and his impact on the kingdom of God will never fade. May God's grace and mercy sustain you, and may you find solace in the knowledge that your loved one is now in the presence of our Heavenly Father. With love, prayers, and deepest condolences. Pastor and Lady Evangelist O.O. Dada

Today, we gather to honor the life of someone truly remarkable, who touched the lives of everyone they met with kindness, generosity, and a spirit that could light up any room. Their unwavering dedication to family, friends, and community is a testament to their selflessness and compassion. In every role they played – as a parent, friend, mentor, or colleague – they exemplified integrity and love, bringing joy with their laughter, offering guidance with their wisdom, and providing comfort with their love. Though they may no longer be with us, their legacy endures in the countless lives they’ve touched and the many hearts they've healed. Today, we celebrate their life, remembering the beautiful moments, shared dreams, and lasting impact they had on us all, and we honor their memory by living with the same kindness, generosity, and unwavering love that they showed every day. He’s been very good to my family especially my dad. He spends time with my dad and even calls him brother. A day before his demise he went over to our house not knowing that will be his final time over there. Up till now we don’t know how to tell brother that you aren’t here any longer. Daddy Ade I pray that all you left behind will continue to grow and pray for my lovely aunty, mommy Ade, to please take heart, and know that death is inevitable. It is well. Continue to rest in the bosom of GOD.

A short tribute to a wonderful brother of more than 40years.
Prince Abiodun Soyele was my husband's bosom friend, I knew him in 1980 when I visited my "now" husband at the University of Ibadan.
Prince Abiodun you left without saying goodbye.
The news of your departure from this world came as a rude shock to us all in my family. We still can't believe that you are no more with us.
You were such a lovely, gentle, kind, easy going, hard working and ever smiling man.
You were the Best man at our wedding 39years ago.
We love you so much and you will forever be in our heart .
It pleases God to take you away from this sinful world at this time. Who are we to question Him.
Sleep on my brother till we meet to part no more.
Mrs Olaide Adeyeye.

I received the shock of the news about your demise and my phone dropped from my hand as I was reading the sad news. ALL what I could utter was JEEESUS. Little did I know that my last with you will be on my 50th Birthday celebration before I finally relocated to UK. I remembered you danced with me and you even cut the golden cake with me. You and Aunty stayed with me till the end of the party and you said to me "Biodun, today was glorious. You had been my role model in Simplicity, meekness and humility.. You were a rare gem and a good role model to us all. Your memories are treasured and they will forever lingered in.my heart. You have fought the good fight. I believe you are with the Angels at the right side of our Lord Jesus. Continue to rest on till we meet to part no more. Adieu Prince Abiodun Simeon Soyele, my Superstar ❤

Good Night our Governor and class mate in the Bible College at CCOPEM .We shall miss your smiling faces and the word of God . Sleep on till resurrection day .
June 6, 2024
It first sounded unbelievable around 11a.m. on your departure day that you were gone to be with the Lord having watched and listened to you talking to children of God to keep asking for power to transform our lives into glory very early on that faithful day. Surely, this will be celebrated in heaven that you delivered the message up to the last hour. We would have loved you to still remain with us a little more but God has His own plans. May the Lord give my sister, sister Funke, the children, family members and friends you left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Rest on our pastor till when we meet to part no more.
June 6, 2024
My sincere prayer is that God's grace and love gives us all the fortitude to bear the passing away of our dearest and modest father. Take heart leye and to the rest of this wonderful family.

Tribute to Prince Simeon Abiodun Soleye.
Instead of focusing on the tragedy of your death, especially the suddenness of your demise from the people you loved and cherished, l will rather focus on the good things we will miss and remember you for.
Everyone who knew you, knew how much loved God and your passion which is so contagious for the things of the kingdom..
Through it all we all have to take solace in the Book of Isaiah Chapter 57 verse one and two...which l paraphrased thus " for the righteous man is taken away from calamity, He enters into peace...He rest in his beds who walks in his uprightness"
No matter how busy things are Prince Simeon would always made time for the people he cared about and showed us that family always comes first...no matter what.
No doubt, words cannot quantify the gap your demise has caused and no one except God could fill the gaps created by your sudden passed away..
Till we see on the Resurrection morning ....
Good night Brother.

Pastor Prince Abiodun Soyele, you departed this sinful world without notification, on that very sad day, you took control of the church altar between 7:00 - 8;00 am and delivered a powerful and life changing message not knowing that would be the last message you will deliver on earth, few hours later, the sad, the unfortunate, the unbelievable news of your demise was announced to few of us in the Church, we taught it was a joke until few of us arrived at the hospital seeing your liveless body on the hospital bed, it was then that it down on us that the news was true.
God in His infinite mercy will give the family you left behind fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Prince Abiodun Soyele a complete and God fearing man to the core, you came you saw and you conquer.
May your gentle soul rest in peace, till we meet to part no more.

A fine man with a fine heart, Gentle and mild
Yet strong willed and principled. Dad, I remember vividly, your presence graced my matriculation fervently, you arrived even before my biological parents and took your place. I hold the experience so dearly and when we shall meet in eternity, i shall greet you specially. Up until then, I say; many thanks for everything. See you at the rapture.

Funke, our devoted wife.
Biodun's hasty exit is like a nightmare.
What a bitter pill to swallow!
I cannot adequately express how painful it's for me to accept the fact and the reality that Biodun is gone for ever. I have been crying since the news got to me.
Biodun was not just a friend but my sibling (blood brother), from another mother. We shared many things in common.
Though I am not in Lagos, I am with you in spirit and in prayers. I will stand by you and the family at all times.
May the soul of my beloved brother, Abbey, continue to rest in peace. Amen.
Accept my condolences, once again.
Femi Adeyeye.
